attomol® Caleidoscan 300
REF 1316
Field of application
The attomol® Caleidoscan 300 (CS300) is an advanced version of the attomol® Caleidoscan 100 (CS100). Like the CS100, it is an automated fluorescence imager with three detection channels, designed for capturing images of fluorescent microobjects, such as fluorescence- and size-coded microparticles (beads) used in attomol® Autoantibody Beadassay.
The CS300 operates with the attomol® Caleidopro control and analysis software.
Both the CS100 and CS300 provide a significant speed advantage over flow cytometry methods. The CS300, for example, can evaluate 32 wells in approximately 5 minutes. This system is distinguished by its broad linear measurement range and high precision.
New to the CS300 is its ability to integrate the attomol® Caleidoamp 100, a high-speed thermocycler, enabling real-time optical monitoring of the cycling process via the CS300 microscope. This advanced integration supports a range of applications, such as:
- PCR Beadassay
- Avidity Beadassay
- Single Fluorescence Molecule Detection

Antibody Avidity Testing by Melting curve Analysis
Field of application
We sell the device with the corresponding test kits and also offer the determination of antibody melting curves as a service, e.g. in the research sector.
Test Principle
Caleidoscan 300 records images of fluorescence- and size-encoded microparticles (beads) of antibody bead assays simultaneously to heating and cooling of Caleidoamp 100.

- automated Real-time antibody melting curve analysis of antibody beadassays
- antibodies show melting temperatures between 40 °C and 80 °C
- applicable to patient's serum antibodies as well as to monoclonal or recombinant antibodies

Measurement of melting curves of Anti-SARS antibodies to the receptor-binding domain of the SARS-CoV-2-Virus. The highest melting temperature of app. 65 °C shows serum L10305.
Flyer
Antibody avidity testing by melting curves analysis is patended by Attomol (Patent No EP23209142).
