For standard PCR applications, it is necessary to extract DNA from the blood sample during the sample preparation process, which can be quite labor-intensive. Only after the purified DNA has been transferred into a separate PCR reaction vessel can the PCR process take place in a subsequent step. Attosorb makes it possible to carry out these procedures efficiently and automatically—with very short incubation times and just a few simple steps—directly in the PCR reaction vessels.
