Intended purpose
Der attomol® Attosorb 96 kit enables the direct purification of DNA from EDTA or citrate blood in the cavities of the PCR microtest plate (MTP). It is recommended to be used only in combination with the attomol® Realtime TM 2 kits, which you can find here.
Field of application
For standard PCR applications it is necessary to extract the DNA from blood sample in an elaborately and time consuming fashion. The PCR itself can only be performed after the purified DNA has been transferred into a separate PCR reaction vessel. Attosorb allows to perform both processes in the same PCR reaction vessel with very short incubation times and a few simple handling steps.
